Jan de Koning started making special furniture on customers special wishes and/or specifications in 1972.

In 1992 he became interested in mathematical forms and from then on he constructed lots of special designs based on mathematics.

When people saw his models they became interested and after a while there was a worldwide interest in his products. A lot of models were made for educational purposes and nowadays you may find his works even in several universities.
